ANNOUNCEMENT!
As of October 1, 2012, we have a new Webmaster for the Federation Web Site. Please help us welcome Arturo & Jennifer Araya. You will be blessed as you get to know them! They are young, new dancers and very excited about doing this project. It provides them an opportunity to work as a couple on something they're very excited about. They come to us highly qualified - Arturo is a Web Designer for Kroger and Jennifer maintains a website for her design company - JennJilldesigns.com.
They follow some pretty big footsteps! Southwestern Ohio/Northern Kentucky Square Dancers Federation has been so blessed through the years with amazing talent and dedication. Emily (Ron) Henry gave birth to our website early in 2006 and brought us into the 21st Century technically speaking. The website provided a monthly calendar of club's dances, a schedule of dance lessons, contact information for club and federation leadership, a roster of the Greater Cincinnati Callers & Teachers Association and dance information for visitors.
Ken (Betty) Close stepped up and took on the task of webmaster in 2011 when Emily & Ron decided to become "snow birds" and retire to Florida. He created Club Pages, a catchy logo and encouraged all of us to keep our information fresh and up-to-date, with an emphasis on creativity. He tried to motivate us to show the club's personalities. We commend Ken for working so hard on the webpage, even as he and Betty struggled with health issues that kept them from dancing.
How do you say "Thank You" to people who give so much and put their hearts and LOTS OF HOURS into making our Federation look good? Please help us express our gratitude by patting them on the back when you see them and letting them know how much you appreciate them!
We invite you to watch the website as it takes on a new look as we roll into 2013. Please provide Arturo & Jennifer with updated dance schedules and changes in club leadership as soon as possible. Make sure you include contact information for your club leadership and complete address information for GPS users.
